This is me on Cancún Beach. The water was sooo beautiful, however due to the tropical storms nearby, we were unable to actually get in it. It was lovely to listen to, though...

Here's Me & my friend Stacy Fawcett-Utu in Slices. I am having one of my usual Banana (or mango) Coladas, and Stace has her usual Jack & Coke. We had to stop and have a drink after being harassed by the market vendors. They were way to touchy-feely for me, and my name is not Blondie!!

This is in the flea market across from Forum By The Sea. She wanted to charge me $50 US dollars for half a head of braids. Stacy got her down to $15 US Dollars. I just cut the braids out last night, and my hair took quite a beating, but it looked cool!

This was the awesome balcony of our room at the Hilton Cancun Beach Hotel. We had a panoramic view of the Carribean Sea, all seven pools and the golf course. We felt like royalty! If we were not by the pool, shopping or eating, we were on that balcony. It was heavenly.

Stace soaks up some sun and a Banana Colada. This was our spot by the pool all week. It was off-season so the pools were almost empty. We loved it! No annoying guys, no screaming kids, just ocean breezes and never-ending drinks delivered to your chair. Everyone must do this at least once in their lives. Slow down, chill out, and regroup. (And get a tan)

This was taken on the last day of our trip. I was only out for an hour and a half and wore SPF 15, which I was constantly re-applying, and I still got a burn. That sun was cookin' big time. All in all, we did have fun, but I think next time it's going to be someplace like Key West--Tropical, but part of the USA!! (As in USDA Food requirements and safe drinking water.) ~9/23/2000
